8 x 10 acrylics on canvas board. i call this one "holy rose." didn't plan it at all. i just squeezed and mixed some paint colors on a palette and let my brush follow my mind (which seemed to be going in a circle at the time. it does that a lot. haha). it started out as a bulls eye kinda painting and ended up looking something like a rose (with a halo) spiraling into a muddy maelstrom suspended in time. for me it has a very personal meaning and is symbolic of things divine, feminine and growing. i cannot really explain it, but i wanted to share it here.
