i was drawn to this picture today, so i lingered here for a while. delighted by the details of this doll, i was also humbled by the fact that someone had the vision and the dedication and the skills to create this fantastical creature. and i realized that art is the result of the artist trusting in his vision, being confident in his capabilities and following through. and the last part of this process is in the letting go. if you want to be an artist but you're always feeling like your not quite there, you have to ask yourself "what exactly is holding me back?"

I love visiting you and drinking from your fount of wisdom my friend. Your thoughts resonate with me. I've never even sent any of my poetry in to literary journals, because I'm not confident enough. Indeed, what is stopping me?
Hugz and Love,
John
i'm guilty of the same thing my friend. and it doesn't even begin there. it begins with me sometimes (most of the time) ignoring my urge to create because "i don't have time now" or "i can't do THAT". or, "i'll do it later" but then later never comes...
i'm happy to inspire. be well mr. yellow yellow sun
